So last week it dawned on me that my time in London is running out. That sucked my soul for a few days and I'm still trying to come out of that! I can't believe that in four months I may be living back in Canada! But I am trying not to think of it and just live in the now.....Very difficult for over-planner Piehl!
Man, when you work at a university the summer months are soooo long and soooo very boring. For the first 3 weeks I was happy for the break. Tidying up my office, taking care of some paperwork....But now, four months in I have had enough! I am really looking forward to the students coming back! I have been...I can't say busy...but occupied? with planning the trips for this semester. All the same as before Paris, Edinburgh and Pony Trekking in Wales and looking for trips to go on before I have to move back home. I have already booked a trip to Ireland to visit some friends from high school and I have been looking at a trip to Eastern Europe in October. Will probably hit Krakow, Budapest and maybe Vienna for a week. Just trying to sort out the logistics now. We'll have to see how that goes...I will keep you updated!!
